About us

Giakalis Hotel & Apartments were builded in 1992. The first year accepted only individual tourists just for testing its  ability in hospitality, and slowly after 2-3 years showed up into the German and further intarnational market which is utill now among the most recognized hotels on Kos island.

With a total of 60 well furnished apartments 29 with one seperate bedroom(max 3 adults), 
21 with two seperate bedrooms(max 4 adults),
3 studios(max 2 adults) and 4 large family apartments(max 4 adults+1 child).


Every apartment has its own kitchennet and kitchenware so guests can create their specialitet whenever they want to without booking with a specific board(BB & HB). This helps the guest to save money and extend their stay, many times doublelizes it.

The first renovation was made on 2000 which included all the surroundings and internal areas of the hotel.
Second was on 2005 also the whole complex was renovated then.
The third is planed for 2012 and includes all the public and internal areas of the hotel.


Family runned for years Giakalis Apart hotel has hundreds of repeater clients that coming even twice a year
with their families and feel like home. 


Since 2008 Giakalis Apart Hotel is under new management and higher standards are expected for the vavalue of its function.


2011 was the most succesfull year of the Hotel with more than 6500 guests in 5 months.
